Property Taxes Melinda's Favorite Alpharetta Restaurants: Melinda Brown, Buyer's Agent on our team, loves to share her favorite things about the Alpharetta area. Here are a few of her favorite restaurants with a short review. There are sooo many good local restaurants. Need Melinda's advice about where to eat? Give her a call at 404-358-7979.
1. Atlantic Seafood: On Wed they have $5 Martini's and half price selected sushi rolls. Extensive seafood menu, prepared many different ways. Fresh Fish.
LOCATION: Alpharetta near North Point Mall. Negative: Pricey. MY friend ordered the crab legs and was not pleased w/the price vs amount. 2. PURE : Great Margarita's. Extensive cocktail list. Upscale Mexican Fusion restaurant with a modern twist. The food is well prepared - leaving behind the normal sloppy mess, which is par for Mexican food. Grilled shrimp, muscles, Ceviche, fish tacos...even great burgers. Love the outdoor seating.
LOCATION: near Old Milton Parkway and HWY 9 in Alpharetta. Negative: Almost always a wait. More Pricey than normal Mexican. 3. Marlow's: Great small dark wood tavern. Great food, I love the Steak Salad....Yummy. Good service. Great outdoor seating w/Window Bar.
LOCATION: Jones Br and Old Alabama 4. Stoney River Legendary Steaks: You’re either new to the area or you do not venture out much if you have not tried this place. Duluth location never disappoints. I've only been to the Roswell location twice, I like it better b/c you don't have a long wait for a table.
Negative: the last time we went our steaks (3 of 4) were not prepared at the correct temperature and we had to send them back, which rarely happens at Stoney River in Duluth. LOCATION: Roswell- Holcomb Br and Hwy 9 or Duluth- State Br and 141 (Medlock Br) 5. Satay House Thai Food: Probably the best in Alpharetta, if not, please enlighten me. I love this special salad they make for me. It has boiled squid and red onions w/a spicy red chili and lime sauce...delish! Usually made w/shrimp, but I like the squid.
LOCATION: off of Hwy 9 near Haynes Br. 6. Twisted Taco: Dancing on Friday nights...good music. Order from the vast amount of Tacos
Negative: Margarita's (at least frozen) are too strong. Yeah, I can't believe I said it either. LOCATION: Holcomb Br. behind Aqua Blue...which is pretty good for a fancy dinner. 7. Garrison's Roof Top: Do some appetizers on the roof while listening to some live music...easy listening.
8. Casa Nuova Italian Restaurant: North Alpharetta 5670 Hwy 9 N. Love it! I start w/Escargot and for dinner I get Conch w/spaghetti and spicy marinara. The seafood is fresh and the owners organically grow a variety of the veggies themselves!
Negative: On weekends there's usually a wait (def on Friday) and they do not have a place to wait if it is cold. Looking for kid friendly restaurants with special pricing for kids? We are too! We would love to hear your thoughts or suggestions! Send Melinda an email to melindabrownsells@gmail.com.
