Perimeter Center employs hundreds of thousands of people and is known for being Atlanta's largest centers of employment.

Tilly Mill was named after the pioneering Tilly family, who owned a farm and mill on land bisected by Tilly Mill Road.

One of the most walkable areas around homes in Dunwoody is Georgetown. This residential and retail area was developed in the early 1960s and can be found via I-285 and the Chamblee city limits.
